  REMINDERS When you file your weekly certification for benefits. You must report any money you earn. If you do any work while filing for unemployment benefits, you must report the money you earn to DES. Always report your income for the week that you worked. Do not wait until you are paid to report your earnings. Failure to provide complete and accurate information or omitting information in order to receive benefits may result in prosecution. You can stop certifying once you go back to work. Your claim will go inactivate after 14 days. There is no need to notify staff to cancel your unemployment claim.
